My Daddy, Kevin P. Thompson
February 14, 1954 - July 6, 2026
A Beautiful Friend was born from one of the most personal experiences of my life
—the loss of my father.
As our family prepared to honor his life, I came to understand just how meaningful the smallest details can be. A photograph, a favorite song, a familiar story, or a carefully chosen touch can do more than decorate a gathering. They can tell the story of a life, bring comfort to the people who loved them, and create moments that stay with a family long after the day is over.
Through that experience, something was placed on my heart: a desire to help other families create those same meaningful moments without having to carry every detail themselves.
My father became the inspiration behind this new journey and the heart behind A Beautiful Friend.
What began through love and loss has grown into a calling to serve others with compassion, creativity, and genuine care.
This adventure is dedicated to my daddy and hero—with gratitude for the life he lived, the love he gave, and the inspiration he continues to be.
